Art

Art is an important feature of our broad curriculum. Our curriculum on Art aims to develop social, communicative and visual skills, as well as developing aesthetic appreciation and individual awareness. Areas of study are structured to enable pupils to move from one topic to another and go beyond the boundaries of what they already know.

Image They experience a broad and balanced programme through different opportunities in curricular, cross-curricular and extra-curricular activities. They explore drawing, painting, 3-D design and construction, clay, printmaking, fabric and fibre and history of art.

Art education is rich and varied and will enhance the lives of our pupils making them aware of the many and varied lifelong and career opportunities available in related fields of study.
