Congratulations to our school quiz teams who took part in the Credit Union Quiz on Saturday night.
Both teams represented Kilchreest National School wonderfully and should be very proud of their achievements.
Our Under 13 team, made up of Cillian Roland, Bassam Gazali, Grainne Burke and Dean Fahy, performed brilliantly and came third overall.
A special congratulations goes to our Under 11 team of Ella Fahy, Aaron Keane, Sean Kelly and Ollie Murray, who came first in their category. They will now go forward to the next round of the competition in March.
Well done to all of the pupils involved for their hard work, teamwork and excellent general knowledge.
A sincere thank you also to Ms Keely for preparing the teams so well and supporting them in advance of the quiz. We are very proud of you all.
