Pupils throughout Kilchreest National School enjoyed exploring their artistic, musical and imaginative talents as part of Creative February.
The children worked together to decorate their classroom doors with colourful and creative displays. Their hard work brought great colour and personality to the school corridors.
Pupils also took part in a walk around the school grounds, during which they observed and appreciated the natural environment surrounding our school.
Music was another important part of the month’s activities. Ms Cunningham organised a traditional music group for the senior classes, giving the children an opportunity to share their musical talents and enjoy playing together.
One of the most enjoyable events was Crazy Hair Day. The children and their families made a fantastic effort, with an amazing variety of colourful, unusual and imaginative hairstyles on display. The event created great excitement and plenty of laughter throughout the school.
We would like to thank Ms Flanagan, Ms Hayes and Ms Keely for coordinating the activities, Ms Cunningham for organising the traditional music group, and all the children and families who helped to make Creative February such an enjoyable celebration.
